took me about a year to get KoaBD on my sin.. course i didn't really care about it untill i realized i was running out of things to do.. so i started working on titles.. 14 max atm on her and a few of my others have 2-3 maxed just cause they were easy (protectors and whatnot)

about a year, or a year and a half O.O For a long time I was like, "lol titles are dumb" but then... I got bored? I don't know - I became more goal oriented once I started figuring the game out more, and hanging out more with my guildies, I think.

It took me more time to get r1 KoaBD (2 years +) than getting r2 (one month) lol.
Of course, I didn't really cared about it before, but since I got really bored one day...

Well, i just focused on completing the campaigns first. I explored as i went, and only had a little left to explore after completing each campaign - so i basically had 3 maxed from playing casually.

I wouldn't include the above as time put into KOABD, as i was playing for the sake of playing, rather than thinking about the next title to grind. So basically, it took me less than a week to get r1 KOABD, as that's how long it took to get 2 protectors.

A year and a half. My first, the warrior, has had 4 titles for a while, and then I was very surprised when I noticed that once I maxed out Norn, I got the first title.

Lack of focus, I guess...

Only 4 titles after nearly 2 years, but in the next few months I'll probably get to r2 very quickly, may be even r3, as there are a few impending titles (well, exactly 3 GMCs which are around 85% now, 3 Guardians, 3 skill hunters at 50% atm, and probably Norn and Asura which are around 50% now).

I got like 5 or 6 titles that only need a days work to get maxed on my ele, but im too lazy atm, maybe sometime when I got time to spare or something...

I had already maxed Tyrian and Canthan Skill Hunter and Tyrian and Canthan Protector when the titles came out.
So: not too long if you count from there. Had been playing a lot to get to that point before then though.

Took me a few months of trying and then that was it, its a pretty easy one all things considered, now with the books and what not its not too bad either to get to rank 2, ive no idea how people get past that though lol

It took me a while, IIRC. I had all 3 protectors and 2 Guardians outta 3. I don't exactly recall what I did to get from a rank to the next though.

I'm R5 ATM, aiming for R6. I'm just working on other stuff beside money farming for titles (mmkay... money farming for armors >_>); if I ever get off my lazy butt I'll be R6 in a few months.

It took me 3 years to get r1 KoaBD on my Paragon. (Wink)

And about a year to get it on my Ranger.

Basically before EoTN I divided my playtime between my characters, but when it came out I switched to the "one main character" theme. I had several maxed titles all around my account, but I don't think I had more than one on each character.

So, I wanted 1st tier KoABD on my mesmer. I started a couple weeks ago, did all three Protectors and now I'm on my way to maxing Sunspear and Lightbringer. Shouldn't take too long, depending how much I'm bothered to grind a day.

After that, though, I dunno what I could max next or if I even want to. Every title takes a lot of money, well maybe Cartographers don't, but that's just so tedious. But 1st tier is enough for me for a while anyway.
